Instance contracts
In 2026 Pause Psychology does has limited contracts with insurers (see below). For all others it is Non contracted care means you pay the invoice then you can send the invoice to them to claim any reimbursements. For both contracted and non contracted care we charge 100% of the maximum rates set by the NZa for basic mental healthcare. See overheid.nl/nza/ for the rates. With contracted care there is still an out of pocket expense (except with Menzis)
It is advisable to contact your insurance company before starting treatment to ask about how much they will reimburse. For any reimbursements you will need a referral to BGGZ from your huisarts or another professional. See here for more information about getting a referral.

Fees for Sarah Craig
For initial intake and any diagnostic sessions- 60mins -€200.99
Diagnostic sessions- 90mins -€300.99
Diagnostic sessions- 15mins -€74.62
For treatment 60 mins -€177.89

Fees for any other team members will include a 15 minute assessment call with Sarah then the second step would be a 60 minute diagnostic session/sessions with a team member and treatment would continue with that team member. Every three months there would be a 15 minute treatment call with Sarah:
Initial 15 minute assessment with Sarah – €74.62
For any diagnostic sessions- 60mins -€167.09
For treatment 60 mins -€147.29
Reimbursements
It depends on your policy (natura or restitution) whether you will receive full or partial compensation for your treatment within the Specialised Mental Health Care. We advise you to contact your health insurer about this. They will require the following information:

Non-insured care
Care that is not covered by the Health Insurance Act include work-related issues such as stress or burnout, relationship problems, sleep disorders, grief, learning disabilities, smoking addiction, and identity problems.
For the treatment that is not covered by insured care, you have to pay for this treatment yourself. For this, the so-called OZP (uninsured product) rate of € 138.15 (2025) per session applies. This is based on a duration of 45 minutes per consultation, including 15 minutes of indirect time.
Paying yourself
The rate for clients who pay for treatment themselves is 100% of the maximum rates set by the NZa for basic ggz. The rates are the same as above.
No show
Sessions you do not attend and for which you have not cancelled on time (less than 24 hours before the appointment) will not be reimbursed by health insurer and will be charged directly to you. The fee we charge for this is 70 euros per session.
ADHD Assessment fee
It will be 2-3 x 90 minute diagnostic session and one treatment session. Fees as above.
Autism Assessment fee
This will be 4 diagnostic sessions of 90 minutes each and one treatment session for the feedback. Fees as above.
